Product Overview

No matter how carefully you navigate off-road obstacles, that one rock will find your vehicles most vulnerable spot. In the case of many vehicles that spot is the rear corner of the tub. Our Orion Corner Armor, is crafted from 3/16” aluminum and will absorb just about any impact (there are limitations) and distribute the force along the entire side of the Jeep. Installing a set of our Orion Corner Armor will not only provide the protection your Jeep requires it will also provide you with peace of mind. These corners have been designed to work with the Titan Tub Armor. If you have a standard between the flares rocker our Crawler Corner Armor will be a better fit.

By mounting our Orion Corner Armor under the tailgate hinge mounts we were able to provide additional strength to an area that can use it. Spacers for the tailgate side of the hinges are included; this is done so the tailgate will be returned to its factory location.

Orion Corner Armor comes fully equipped with mounting holes, LED cut out and provisions for all factory accessories such as:

• Flare Mounting Holes
• License Plate Mounting Holes
• Fuel Filler Hole 

Build Specs

You can confidently install these Corners knowing, that they have been constructed from quality materials by the craftsmen at Nemesis Industries. Using a water jet the Orion Corner Armor is cut from 3/16” aluminum. After removing the dross (slag) from the cut part it is inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards. Forming of the Corner is handled by our CNC press brake, using tooling developed by our resident tool & die maker. What makes our process unique is that our corners are coined (stamped) versus air formed. This prevents any deformation during the forming process, creating a part that has a consistent, smooth radius. After forming the Corner is again inspected to ensure it meets our quality requirements.

Notes

• 4.25” Round LED Hole. This cut out will accommodate both grommet and flange mounted 4” LEDs (if you are running OEM taillight you will need to use our adapter plate)
  LiteDots will work with the LED cut out. Mounting holes will need to be moved up 13/16” to cover the hole. This was done so the LiteDots would clear the factory license plate mount.
• Corners can be custom built to accommodate any request you may have. Nominal changes such as removing unnecessary holes will be done at no charge. More involved modifications can be done for an additional charge. Contact our sales department for additional information and pricing.

Installation

Installation is straight forward and can be completed in six hours, for the pair, with basic hand tools, a nut insert tool and a drill with a 27/64th drill bit.
